I purchased a new trans from a dealership in New Orleans. It also arrived with oil in it. I changed the fluid before installing it (Redline MT 90), the original fluid was perfectly clean, but I was disturbed to see a dark accumulation around the magnet on the plug. My trans is very notchy going into 2nd, especially the first couple of shifts after it sits, it seems to be the worst when shifted slowly, but the other gears are not bad. I am very picky about things, but this is well beyond what it should be. Scottsdale Nissan (sucks!) told me that everything is fine, and the only thing wrong is because I have an aftermarket clutch.
